The
Alliance's Preservation Achievement Awards luncheon, celebrated during
May, Preservation Month, is an annual celebration of the individuals,
organizations, businesses and projects that exemplify outstanding
achievement in the field of historic preservation throughout the
region. The annual luncheon is the largest gathering of preservationists in the region.

Achievement Awards 2009
More than 500 attendees gathered Monday, May 11, 2009 for the 16th annual Preservation Achievement Awards luncheon. The luncheon, held in the historic Grand Ballroom at the Park Hyatt Philadelphia at the Bellevue, recognized individuals, organizations and 20 projects that exemplify extraordinary accomplishment in the field of historic preservation.
Mayor Nutter, who served as honorary luncheon co-chairman, along with Gov. Rendell, spoke, congratulating the awardees and speaking of the links between historic preservation, environmental sustainability and economic development.
